BREEZING LOVE (June 2003)

Oh!dear breeze from the hoary sea
What happened?
Your soothing chill touch is absent this day
Maybe, you are angry like me
Similar to the one that happened to me
Must have happened to you.

The flower whom you love to dance with
That flower by whose pride you feel aroused
That flower by whose wild fragrance your spirits rise
Must be ignoring you
Listening to the nearby grass
Fascinated by its speech
Which boasts about that transient dew
That settles on it at the early dawn.

Do not worry oh breeze!
The dew that settles on
That silly grass-untouched by cattle
May seem to enclose
The sun itself within
And may glow like a diamond
With spherical facets.

But do not worry oh breeze!
That dew lasts no longer
As the sun rises itself at the horizon
The glowing dew gets lost
In the air around
And leaving the filthy grass behind
To be trampled by the animals' feet.

Oh dear breeze!
That flower doesn't know
About your deeds.
You fill the hearts
Of people, baked by the hot sun
With pleasure and comfort
And are blessed "Long ye blow o'wind"
The flower may not understand
As it is not in dire need
Of your deed any time now.
Under the shadow of the tree
It grows, it feels no burning sun.
But that too ceases to be forever
As the autumn which the flower
Has not yet seen sets
The tree under which it grows,
Loses its leaves, leaving the flower unshaded
Then the flower will understand
How different and kind you feel
So worry not about your flower.

You have to wait.
But halt you not
Embrace your flower with the same love
And one day the autumn will come
And the flower will understand
You are a far worthy companion
Than that grass near it.

MY LOVE - MY ROSE (Oct 2002)

Flecks of mud stick to my soles
As i walked through
The rough pathways
On the green filled meadows
Lush with grass and bush
With tiny flowers yellow and blue
Cattle grazing the soft grass
Driving grasshoppers and insects amuck
And the chill air of the evening
Nearly made me feel at Paradise.

* * *

As I entered the woods
The chirps and pecks of birds was filling the air
As I neared the small clearance
My heart began to pump hard(Why?)
Day i saw her I fell in love
As a proposal i had sent a dove
Symbol of my love was a red-rose
I planted in this clearance I made
I spoke to it with love in heart
I kissed it with love in heart
I loved it with love in heart
As i would have done to her
I felt she is the rose
Red and beautiful wanting my embrace
I sat beside her and said
How I missed her this noon
I couldn't bear.
But it didn't seem interested
And remained silent.
This nature of her i have not seen
Warned me something wrong.
She dances in the air ,sending me
A gust of fragrance that I feel she laughs
But today she kept quiet(Why?)

* * *

I sat beside her with worry
Then my dove returned
She landed beside me
Away from the rose
And stuck her leg out to give the reply
I turned to it and took it
I prayed as i uncoiled it, for a hopeful reply
The reply was short in a scribble
"For dust on cartwheels to love,
I am not the mud on the streets"
Just a single line.

Denials bring worries
But insults bring wounds
With shearing pain in my heart, I couldn't bear
To quench my anger and pain
I turned to the rose to scold her
But what I saw made me shatter
I fell at the feet of her and started to cry
There my rose was hanging its head slowly down
With its petals turning black...

FEEL OF THE FIRST LOVE (Feb 2002)

True are the Seers who said
See your Love, you lose your head
Lie down sleepless in the bed
Thoughts in mind leaving stomach unfed
Melt even your heart of lead
Added they turn you scarlet-red.

Legs once which walked with a strut
Seems to loose all its gut
Now tremble as if loosened by a nut
Added you feel no less a rut.

I am sure without any doubt
It chases the pride 'body-out'
Makes thee breathe like a kettle spout
Fight it you'll end with a silent rout.

All this due to a sudden love
Make an eagle plead a dove
And make a tiger bow a doe
And worship from its top to toe.

You feel standing on the edge of a cliff
With a chill storm hard even to sniff
All your powers down to seed
Return not even if you plead.

Your heart pounds up at her sight
You mutter loudly hard at night
Thoughts of her make you very bright
Always give your mind a flight
Soaring higher than a Chinese kite.

You fight to stress she's a dove
My friend that 's the feel of your first love.

PLEA (Jan 2002)

002I stood by a blue hoary sea
It seemed to be too small to me
As my thoughts were like a bay
She didn't turn up to my dismay
My thoughts ran for second by second
Spent with her that i long before reckoned.
I know she'll come at last
Or else i would die by a fast

When at sunset she came near
But her eyes were full of tear
"Oh! my darling, I love you!
I don't know how to just please you"

I watched the pearls down her eyes
And my heart was kept in ice
I took my hand and felt her cheek
In a faint voice I started to speak
"On my lips just kiss me
Oh my sweetie! that 's my plea"
